Interview questions are displayed on screen, and candidates have set times to read and provide their answer. Everyone wins since it removes scheduling issues and travel time for candidates, and leads to higher quality hires for recruiters, with less resources and shorter feedback loops.
The product presents many design challenges, especially on the candidate side, since the process is completely new to the majority of users. With any interview scenario, there is a natural nervousness, and the introduction of an unfamiliar,
and impersonal, process can be uncomfortable. They need to be eased into interacting with the system so they can confidently complete their interview.
However the majority of feedback we receive is from users on the client company side. Their focus is on process features, integrations and brand led enhancements. When planning iterations and prioritising features, I try to strike
a balance between meeting the needs of these distinct personas.
